Visibility of Production Apps

Apps in the Production environment will be visible to all Dataset Exchange API users for installation/connection.

Non-production environment Apps are visible to their creator in the creator's Workspace. These Apps can be installed in the creator's Workspace for testing authentication, submission, and retrieval.

Production Apps must be approved by MIG after a Security Review process before they are made public to Dataset Exchange API users. Shortly after you create an App in any non-production environment, MIG will contact you about the review process through the email associated with your MIG account.

Security Review

All Apps will need to pass a security review before they are made public to Dataset Exchange API users.

MIG is committed to an expedient review process. We will contact you about the Security Review process via the email associated with your MIG user account after you've created an App in the non-production environment.

Private Production Apps

If you would like to keep your Production App Private and only visible to specific users, please bring this up in your Security Review.
