Production Apps

Visibility of Production Apps
Apps updated to be available in the the Production environment will be visible to all Dataset Exchange API users.
Development and staging environment Apps are visible to members of the creator's Workspace. These Apps can be installed in the creator's Workspace for testing authentication, submission, and retrieval.
In order to have an App publicly available: Production Apps must be approved by the DDx API team after a Security Review process before they are made public to Dataset Exchange API users. Shortly after you create an App in any non-production environment, DDx API Support will contact you about the review process through the email associated with your DDx API account.
If you would like to keep your Production App Private and only visible to specific users, flag this during your onboarding.

All Apps will need to pass a security review before they are made public to Dataset Exchange API users.
The DDx API team is committed to an expedient review process. We will contact you via the email associated with you DDx API Console account after you've created an App in the non-production environment.
